His compassion for "YOUTH" spills over into his love for music and ministry. He is a minister and works as part of Shepherd's Staff at The Potter's House under the powerful and illustrious leadership of Bishop T. D. Jakes of Dallas, Texas. Dooney stands on the uncompromising word of God. He believes there is a generation developing that must know the truth. They must know they are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation a peculiar people set aside for God's divine purpose. The purpose of his music is not to "crossover, but to bring the cross over." Dooney has been featured in countless talk and radio interviews. He has participated on numerous advisory boards. He has been recognized for multiple achievements. Most recently the "2000 Texas Gospel Rap Artist Award," and nominated in 2001 and 2002 for the Texas Gospel Music Guild. God has given Dooney tremendous favor and will continue to reach the multitudes with his powerful testimony.
To his credit, Dooney founded Peculiar Records as a haven for upcoming artist such as Cotton, The Throne, Holy Boyz, and many more.
Dooney has provided music and opened in concert for Bishop T.D. Jakes, Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Mississippi Mass Choir, Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers and a host if many others.
His most recent release "Priest of the Streets" was debuted March 2002 at the Potter's House Dallas, Texas and is demonstrating phenomenal success.
