TRÜ PRAISE Productions was founded by Terence & Jacqueline Townsend in 2002.  TRÜ PRAISE was born out of a desire to see Gospel Hip-Hop music reach the masses.  TRÜ PRAISE is a ministry based in the Central Texas area reaching worldwide.

The Vision of this organization is to encourage the growth & span of Gospel Hip-Hop and Christ-Centered ministry by reaching people across this Nation & Worldwide.

 

Our Call and Purpose for beginning this work was not just to market gigs for music artist & groups. We are fostering the development of a new and unique presentation for ministry.  At TRÜ PRAISE Productions we are taking some of the hottest artist and groups in the Christian Music industry and pairing them with some of the most profound speakers of our day and turning every event into a spiritual Christian Crusade.

Our Hope is to see every event that is setup by TRÜ PRAISE Productions to be completely fulfilling for Christian Believers, but also serve as a true evangelical outreach for men, women, boys and girls alike.

Our Focus is on promoting and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ...not just trying to sell a show.

PURPOSE:

Performers:  The artists committed to participate in these events are listed as follows: Lyrix, Damon O’, Redeemed Hip-Hop, OverDose, Janell, KD3, T-Rock, Terry Price, Soul Plasma, Disciple, Reza-Rec, Pastor Rez, Mr. D-Note and Dooney.  All headliners may not appear at every event.  Many other well known local artists will participate on events at various locations.

Starting in May 2006, we will begin the first leg of “Heal The Land Tour 2006-‘07”.  Our goal is to have seventy plus (70+) concert events from, coast to coast, in major cities and rural populated areas.  This number does not include the promotional appearances, media marketing and PR opportunities at television and radio stations.  These events will mostly sponsored by local organizations, both charitable and For Profit.  Event locations and audience demographics may vary.  Target locations consist of, but are not limited to, HBCU’s, State Colleges, Private Universities, Community Centers, Retreats, Club & Coffeehouses, open air concert venues, Event/Conference Centers, Schools, rallies/festivals and Churches in the East, Southeastern, Southern US, Midwest and West Coast. Other event opportunities we will take advantage of are amusement parks as well as regional & youth outreaches.

One of the measures of an events’ success is represented by the number of attendees.  In consideration of the overwhelming support that we have for this tour at this point, we are modestly expecting an estimated 25,000 - 30,000 concert goer in colleges and communities across the country in attendance of the events comprising the “Heal The Land Tour 2006-‘07”.  We expect a gamut of attendees including Hip-Hop Music enthusiasts, Clergy and their youth congregations and College Students.  As well as supporters from groups like FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Campus Crusades for Christ, Baptist Student Ministry, Big Brother/Big Sister of America, Fraternal Organizations and many more will join us in concert halls, stadiums, arenas and churches, on college campuses & in communities across the US. 

The aspect that makes this tour so amazingly unique is that it is the first of its kind.  On this tour we will be filming an “ALL ACCESS” Documentary style for Podcasting and a Tour DVD.  In 'Reality Show' fashion, portions of the tour will be broadcasted internationally via Podcast.  We will have two digital cameras that will follow the tour to capture all the backstage antics, artist profiles & interviews, event goers’ responses to the show and ‘LIVE’ concert performance footage. This will culminate into the ‘Heal The Land Tour 2006 DVD” to be released following the tour. It will be produced by TRÜ PRAISE Productions & distributed by TRÜ PRAISE Retail & Digital Distribution to retailers worldwide. 

 

This tour will receive radio marketing, retailer support, national and targeted internet marketing and national ticketing (as needed).  As a result of our marketing, we are expected to draw out hundreds of event goers, GOOD brand exposure for Company Sponsors and their Associate Partners (include products, service, sub companies and affiliates) and touring artist.  Overall, our efforts will impact MANY THOUSANDS across the country and many more worldwide.  

 

We'll build on the inevitable success of the early tour events.  We plan to maximize our number of event stops & appearances.  While at the same time rotating in new artists known for their audience appeal and their advocacy for our above stated Tour Purpose.

 

Tour Expense Schedule

 

o        Travel/Overnight Accommodations Sponsorship and Tour Bus Marketing*We will charter a fifteen passenger van & trailer. (Total cost of the van is $1,500)  Additional needs include gas, insurance and a maintenance fund.

                  Budgeted Cost = $3,500

 

o        Overnight Accommodations – Overnight accommodations will be sponsored by each event sponsor. (These funds will be held as a backup for accommodations if event cannot or will not cover rooms.)

Budgeted Cost = $2,500

 

o        Sound Equipment*

Budgeted Cost = $4,500

 

o        All Promotional Materials, including 1000 1-color stickers, 500 posters, 3000 postcards, 500 t-shirts (T-shirts screen printed on front pre-washed heavyweight cotton tees - white) to be distributed across the country and dozens of posters strategically placed throughout the college campuses across the US.

Budgeted Cost = $2,400

 

o        Radio Campaign – Campaign THE BOX SET 2006 Artist Compilations to all types of broadcast station nationwide, including College and Online Radio stations. 

Budgeted Cost = $800

 

o        Concert Tour Program Marketing - There will be a concert tour program that will consist of 4” X 6” glossy, double-sided heavy card stock; with full color Logo, Tour Name and artist lineup on the front side. Displayed on the back side of the card will be the tour name, Signature Sponsors name and a tour itinerary.  

                  Budgeted Cost = $1,500

 

o        Sponsor Acknowledged on Official Tour Website – A hot website created by one of the top urban graphic arts design companies on the scene today.  The site will feature artist music and bio, a tour schedule, online ticket purchasing application, a sponsor advertising including link, specials, partners, etc. and an order form for tour merchandise.

o        Sponsor Banner Marketing - Banners displayed in the prime marketing position throughout Tour.

Budgeted Cost = $300

  

  • Concert Passes - Preferred Seating at showcases and Up to 20 passes per event, 8 being ALL ACCESS PASSES.  These passes can be given away as gifts, concert promotional giveaways, etc.

Cost to each Local Sponsor

 

o        Online Promotional Marketing:  Advertising/press releases, banner ads, virtual one sheet distribution, targeted email marketing campaigns as well as search engine marketing.

Budgeted Cost = $500

 

o        Administrative Supplies – These supplies include cell phones, laptops, ledgers, two-ways and any other devise or resources need in administration to the tour.

      Budgeted Cost = $1,200 

 

o        Tour Personnel Supplemental Fund - We will be out on tour receiving some fee support from the sponsor group as well as selling merchandise.  We recognize that some of the artists and staff are leaving their steady work income to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music to countless thousands across the nation.  This is a token fund that will be dispensed at the start and close of the tour.

*Our most important needs at this point are in the areas of Travel & Sound Equipment Sponsorship.  We have many mechanisms in place that will assist us in the marketing of this tour.  These alternatives will help us to maximize the event attendance, publicity opportunities and tour related merchandise sales.
